When foreigners think about Finland, they often think about hi-tech, sports, appreciated composers, architecture or glass designers. The glass designers, especially Tapio Wirkkala and Timo Sarpaneva, have gained high reputation also internationally and recieved many worldwide appreciated design prizes. Their timeless masterpieces of glass art – inspired by northern nature - attract humans from all around the world.

Based in Finland, the web store Mistraali intends to bring the works of the previously named glass designers as well as other famous Finnish designers (Kaj Franck, Gunnel Nyman, Alvar Aalto, Helena Tynell, Saara Hopea, Nanny Still, Oiva Toikka, Aimo Okkolin, Heikki Orvola, Kerttu Nurminen...) available for you who appreciate them and maybe would want to add some items to your personal collection.

To Finnish history also belong the moments of crise. In 20th Century the Finns fought for their freedom in three wars: War of Freedom 1918, Winter war and Continuation war. Nowadays, many wartime items such as medals, documents, uniforms and photos are collected by growing crowd of collectors worldwide. Mistraali also offers such items.

We also offer Arabia porcelain, cheramics and other kinds of collectibles. New items are added constantly, so visiting daily is recommended!
